Simonton: Valley Lodge Parade and Picnic Cancelled Due to Rain
The Valley Lodge Property Owners’ Association has cancelled their annual parade and picnic due the the continued rainfall in the area.
Vickie Courtney, VLPOA director said that cancelling was their only option since the forecast called for a 70% chance of rain on Saturday. The VLPOA board is considering re-scheduling the event for Labor Day.
All is not lost though. The City of Fulshear has moved their Event to Sunday, July 4th at 6:00 PM. Fireworks start at 9:45.
